Construction


To introduce students to the residential and commercial construction industry. Students will be provided with real work experiences in the field of construction including but not limited to: conceptual design and measurements; plan reading and cost analysis; developing and presenting proposals; project selection and estimating. Students may receive hands-on experiences in: concrete, masonry, framing, dry-wall, basic electrical, basic plumbing, roofing, hand and power tools, rigging and materials handling, along with personal and site safety while on the job.
