Why ACED?
The ACED project is designed to assists students in grades 6-14 in making informed decisions regarding their education and to understand critical employability skills or credentials needed to succeed in the workforce and includes a rigorous learning environment and elevated expectations for high school graduation, postsecondary education and training, and ultimately successful entry into the workforce.
The ACED project is: closely aligned with the Education Progress Meter goals of Achieve 60AZ, integrates the Arizona Career Literacy Standards, incorporates student Education & Career Action Plan (ECAPSs) and emphasizes business led partnerships in order to align career exploration activities to current and future workforce needs.
